Accounting Officer in a Mega Beverages (Alcoholic and Non-Alcoholic Wines, Spirits) Importing Company

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Drive efficiency in office administration
• General book-keeping ensuring that all financial transactions are captured through the company’s accounting software
• Monitor stock overseeing efficiency in inventory management
• Collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and detailing trends
• Monitoring ledgers and bank statements regularly to ensure they tally with the company’s records with zero tolerance for and prompt recovery of excess charges.
• Carryout periodic and prompt reconciliations with bankers, debtors and creditors.

Qualifications

• At least five years work experience in Accounting related function or passion for Accounting if zero experience
• B.Sc / HND in Accounting,with strong financial skills.

Other Conditions

• Must age less than 40years
• Ideal candidates should presently reside in Abuja.

• Attention to detail required.
• Business Acumen
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Use of computer.
• Competence to record financial transactions
• Ability to develop and implement cost saving measures
